There is raiding and then there is raiding.soopermousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266304739028473267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20292755.post-88996489284021929572007-09-27T02:21:00.000-07:002007-09-27T02:21:00.000-07:00Its awesome hearing something like this from an ex...Its awesome hearing something like this from an experienced raider. I'm really casual (like for instance, I've gone back to my hometown for two weeks, and I won't be accessing my lvl 20 hunter till then. Plus I spend about 2-3 hrs per day at the most in WoW). Its nice to have the... mystique of hard-core raiding removed.

One question though, did you finally blog about the "conversion from casual to hardcore guild"? I'm curious, coz I'm in a guild of pret-ty laid back toons too, some of them log in about once or twice every month, if you can believe it :-p. I"d like to know how we'd get around to doing an MC run :-p, hehe...Elnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13967729509395120002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20292755.post-87782135894697592022007-08-25T15:12:00.000-07:002007-08-25T15:12:00.000-07:00Scheduled runs are also more beneficial to the cas...Scheduled runs are also more beneficial to the casual player than you think. If you know that MC is on Thursday nights, you can clear your schedule on that night. A hardcore player, on the other hand, is always online and really has no schedule to clear.

Isn't that like saying "if you can't find the time to do something, then just find the time to do it"? I mean, casuals are casuals because they can't clear their calendars for the sake of a game.Todd S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10212986450069403803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20292755.post-1141667453451008382006-03-06T09:50:00.000-08:002006-03-06T09:50:00.000-08:00Tell you what. I'll be happy, because this ultimately reduces the number of rogues that teams will let in each instance run, thus increasing my chance to get rogue-friendly gear. It will also increase my chances of getting invited to groups, since more will likely run. No more scrounging around for 10-20 players. Grab 5 and go go go.

Well, hopefully.

Theoretically.

Won't matter too much on my server, anyway, since the chances it will drop you once an hour are about 9 in 10.

Weee!

(I do look forward to the 'casual gamer' set quests, though.)Psyaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00685001235355463535noreply@blogger.com
