The thing is, the WoW-verse was always more grey-area than, say, Wildstar, but the WoW story folks seem to have a huge blind spot in how to create conflict.<br /><br />"I have seen the enemy, and it is us." --PogoRedbeardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05306063084983025771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20292755.post-71450230865321603722019-03-19T14:00:50.112-07:002019-03-19T14:00:50.112-07:00I think so too. Though I don't see it being a "hot" civil war with actual fighting, but more like tension in the leadership, and people refusing to cooperate with each other.Rohanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09090769681887119989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20292755.post-56954563315575362252019-03-19T13:59:46.969-07:002019-03-19T13:59:46.969-07:00Which is kind of weird. Maybe they'd unconsciously repeat themselves for small things, but it seems unusual for major story beats.Rohanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09090769681887119989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20292755.post-69144686320087929882019-03-16T13:14:17.644-07:002019-03-16T13:14:17.644-07:00Alliance civil war storyline would be really cool....Alliance civil war storyline would be really cool.Alex Barberihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02873846130807963228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20292755.post-61771363560792245442019-03-16T07:49:27.966-07:002019-03-16T07:49:27.966-07:00I doubt that Blizz is thinking that far enough ahe...I doubt that Blizz is thinking that far enough ahead to create a split on the Alliance side. They seem to be stuck in making the Horde do the heavy lifting and have all the angst. In Wrath, it was the Apothecaries who pushed the Horde/Alliance cold war into a hot one; in Cataclysm the Horde were the ones who frequently were the aggressors (which is how we got Jaina 2.0); and you already covered Pandaria. So yeah, I can't see Blizz ever breaking out of that tendency.Redbeardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05306063084983025771noreply@blogger.com
