Ulduar!

(Video by Cranius and Summergale)

Oh man, I am so not ready for this patch. I don't have enough gold for dual-spec, and I really should have done some fishing last weekend.

Heh, one of the advantages of Blizzard taking so long to release patches is that there's always a thrill of excitement when one comes out. People make movies, there's breathless reporting on everything coming out, everyone is blogging and chattering away. Energy levels are very high.

If Blizzard released a patch every month, I don't think it would have the same impact.

  1. I know what you mean on being able to afford dual spec. I barely have around 1500g. Though of being broke spending 1Kg for dual spec is not a good one thinking about it.

  2. I don't have enough money for dual spec either! Yesterday morning I assumed that the patch wouldn't be coming until the 21st, so I bought "some things". That morning I had like 1200 gold. Now? I have like 60 gold. >.<

  3. It's all fine now, until b-holes start saying "what's your off-spec? are you geared for that too?"

  4. Its not just the dual spec.

I spent 500g brushing up my Ret set last weekend, mostly stuff like perfect greens> Rare gems, socketed a couple of peices etc. Then turned around and spent just as much on my 80 druid.

  5. I've got the gold, but not enough to gear out the new spec. The fun will be learning the new spec! I've been prot from 0-80, now I'll learn Holy .... the hard way.

  8. God bless gracious guildmasters who pay for the duel spec if you are proficient in both specs for progression raiding.

3 Ulduar bosses and the new boss in the Vault in one night is what I experienced tonight.Epic patch content...truly a night to remember.

  9. I'm kind of glad we killed the Flame Leviathan and then called it a night. Since it will likely be, what, 5 - 6 months before the next patch? At least this way it will take a little longer to explore Ulduar. (Ok, I confess, the reason we didn't go further was because it took Blizz too long to get the servers online...)
