Tier 3 Armor

Community Manager: The paladins are complaining that they are not being allowed to melee in raids, and are being forced to stand in the back and spam heals.

Blizzard Developer: Okay, if they're in the back, they won't need any melee stats on their armor.

I surrender. The healbots have won. God forbid that a melee class--a class with zero ability to do damage from range--actually enter the front lines of a battle.

  1. Hi there,

take a look at the stats known of the Druid T3 Set ... not a single point of Agi or Str. I've heard say that the T3 set is for the optimized raid for people who skill talents and play according to current "raid demands". I love playing my druid as healer, part-time healer.

  2. Don't give up on it just yet. Tom Chilton said in his video interview that there would be plenty of off-set items for 'alternative' builds - let's face it, with only 9 pieces in the set and 18 bosses, they're going to have to come up with -something-.

The sets are the ultimate expression of standard raid philosophy - personally, I think it's pretty good that the set is -entirely- healbot, as it means that all a Paladin will need to healbot in Naxx will be the Redemption set - much less chance of guilds forcing respecs to squeeze that little inch more out of their healbots. Gear >> Spec for Palahealing, as we all know.
