Why do we fight? Because that dude over there said he'd give us a new sword if we did.
Is everyone excited for Pandaria?
I'm debating staying up until midnight and playing for half an hour or so. Just for the new expansion release excitement. And seeing everyone try to click the main quest giver.
On the other hand, it will probably be half an hour of crashing servers, so maybe sleep is a better choice.
So far the EU realms seem to be having a good time of it, so might be worth it if you can. I'm not on till Wednesday night anyway due to real life stuff, so I'm hoping that the first issues and patch (if they need one) will be out of the way.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be up, but that's because I'm going to be working at Midnight. (Yay me.)
ReplyDeleteMy rule is (now) 'Don't buy a new MMO on launch, don't log in on patch day.' Of course, the real patch day for Pandaria happened weeks ago... although I personally would hate to deal with the crowds (which is the other part of not logging in on patch day).
ReplyDeleteI dropped my sub to WoW almost a year ago and nothing I've seen in the expansion makes me want to come back. (I'm now playing LoTRO and some Torchlight II.) Hope you have fun, though!
Launch is at 5:00pm on east coast Australia, so it's going to be a lovely evening of super prime time action.
ReplyDeleteGetting up at 5am and playing for 2h before work was kind of relaxing - saw maybe 3 other people :)
ReplyDeleteI was at work at 4am (PST) so now wow for me :) I'll be on after work though, grinding my plate-covered ass to 90 woop woop!
ReplyDeleteI got up at 3AM and played to about 4:30. No issues finished up the first check mark for the quest achievement and went back to bed. Very enjoyable really.
