Grobbulus is an Role-Playing Player-vs-Player server. That means it's a little bit weird.
On a normal PvP server, a Horde lowbie gets ganked while trying to quest in Hillsbrad Farms by max-level Alliance players.
On a Role-Playing PvP server, a Horde lowbie gets ganked while trying to quest in Hillsbrad Farms by max-level Alliance players pretending to be farmers.
Seriously, there were four of them, dressed up in overalls and plaid shirts and carrying shovels.
That is actually pretty funny. I still don't want to play on a PvP server, but I am glad they are taking the RP part to heart.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not sure about the whole PvP bit still, but at least it's more interesting than straight ganking.
DeleteRoleplayers are weird like that. On my (PvE-)RP server's Discord someone posted a picture last night of an Alliance premade doing AB all dressed up as farmers - apparently their only mission was to capture and defend the farm. XD
ReplyDeleteHeh, nice.
DeleteIf you ever hear banjos, RUN!!!!
ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder if there is a banjo weapon in game. Actually, I don't think there are many musical instrument weapons in WoW yet.
DeleteThere's also a pitchfork weapon that one can get.
ReplyDeleteHeh, I'll be honest. I was trying to run away and didn't notice the finer details.
